    Fantastic! Here is a list of steps you’ll need to take to get it connected:

    1. Log into FortiGate web UI as admin.

    2. Go to System → Administrators → Create New → REST API Admin.

    3. Enter a name (e.g., “Halo Security”), leave “Trusted Hosts” blank or set to Halo IP, generate the key.

    4. Copy the long API token and paste it into the Halo FortiGate integration form along with the public IP/FQDN of the FortiGate.
